Katelyn & David’s Barn Home Wedding

“Katelyn and David were united in marriage on June 21, 2014 at the bride’s parents’ home in Torrington, WY followed by a reception, dinner and dance at the couple’s “Barn Home” which they built themselves in Veteran, WY. The wedding was a small private wedding for close family only. The matron of honor was Katelyn’s sister Jessica from Cheyenne; the best man was the groom’s brother Jeff from Sheridan. The flowers were freshly cut sunflowers. Katelyn’s dress was her mother’s wedding gown from 1982 (Mike Benet Formals); the car was a 1967 Chevy Camaro owned by her father, Tom. Dixie cups of sunflower seeds were thrown as the couple exited the ceremony. Instead of a wedding cake, the couple served varieties of freshly baked pies and cookies. The tables were decorated with tea lights, lanterns, burlap table runners, fresh sunflowers in wine bottles, and sunflower seeds.
