Thanks to Alison of Travel Bug Fotos for sharing this beautiful Casper wedding with us! Alison shares a little detail about their day with us…

Amanda Mason and Lane Fischer of Casper, Wyoming held this beautiful wedding on a true working ranch. Amanda’s family works on the ranch where the wedding was held, with the added coolness factor that the decorations came directly from the ranch! The flowers used were wildflowers picked from the land. The table settings were elk antlers, that I assume were collected over the years. The backdrop to the head table were two big barn doors with the letter F in the center of it. The chairs during the ceremony were hay bails that came from the land as well. It was beautiful — and meaningful.

The ceremony was held out in the pasture under a big beautiful tree. She hung an old chandelier from the tree and under that was where they stood. Before the ceremony, we took group photos at a beautiful old barn on another side of the ranch. The barn had so much character but it only got better with this tiny old farmhouse that sat next to the barn. The porch was decaying and the paint was chipping.  There was even a dead snake in the farmhouse. (It made for some pretty memorable photos!)

The reception was held in a large arena on the property where the bride would work on her various rodeo skills. The ropes that the bridesmaids carried, instead of bouquets, were used by the bride in competition over the years.

Overall, this day was perfectly Wyoming. And I am so thankful to have been asked to be a part of their beautiful day.
