Jessica & Casey’s Big Sandy Wedding – Grateful Heart Photography

Congrats to Jessica & Casey on their August 16, 2014 wedding up in Big Sandy! Jessica & I met on Facebook through our Wyoming Weddings page, where we learned just how small Wyoming really is… My grandparents and Jessica’s grandparents have cabins on the same one track, rock-filled road near Big Sandy Recreation Area! Jessica was in the process at the time of planning her and Casey’s unique wedding – and we’re so excited to feature it on our blog today! I love when a photographer has an opportunity to photograph a true Wyoming couple on their wedding day. On August 16, 2014, I had the pleasure of photographing Casey and Jessica  in their outdoor ceremony in the wide open spaces of Big Sandy Openings. Most couples use a candle or sand ceremony to unite their love as one. This couple, using their hunting archary equipment, shot their arrows into a heart shaped target to unite them as one. The bride made her beautiful bouquet of flowers, as well as the both of them made their decorations for their big day.  They were officiated in marriage by Lenny Kaumo and the reception dinner was provided by Boschetto’s European Market and Deli.
