Myles’ and Sarah’s love story begins in August 2008. It\u00a0was the first day of pharmacy school at the University of\u00a0WY. Sarah sat in the first row and Myles sat in the second\u00a0row on the opposite side of the room. Before long, Myles\u00a0grew bored and began exploring the room and sizing up\u00a0the competition. He noticed Sarah right away and thought,\u00a0\u201cHEY, THAT IS A CUTE GIRL THAT I NEED TO GET TO\u00a0KNOW!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, loss of confidence kept him from\u00a0<\/span>talking to Sarah. In fact they didn\u2019t officially meet until a\u00a0<\/span>month or so into the semester. Sarah was running late to p<\/span>hysiology lab class — by the time she made it to class\u00a0<\/span>there was only one person left to partner up with and that\u00a0<\/span>was MYLES!! Little did she know that Myles made sure\u00a0<\/span>that they were lab partners…he partnered everyone up and\u00a0<\/span>waited for Sarah to come in.\u00a0<\/span>This was when their worlds\u00a0<\/span>began to collide… <\/span><\/p>\n

One day a mutual friend Maggie told\u00a0<\/span>Myles that she thought he would really hit it off with\u00a0<\/span>Sarah. He played it off, like “Sarah? Sarah who?” but he\u00a0<\/span>totally knew who Sarah was. From this point they were just\u00a0<\/span>lab partners — some flirting but no outside interaction. One\u00a0<\/span>day after lab, a mutual friend and Myles asked Sarah if she\u00a0<\/span>wanted to meet up with them and study. Myles knew from\u00a0<\/span>the first study session that Sarah was someone he was\u00a0<\/span>very interested in getting to know much better.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Myles\u00a0remembers feeling that Sarah was like no one he had ever\u00a0met before. She was smart, fun, strong minded, well\u00a0spoken, and BEAUTIFUL. Sarah made Myles laugh and\u00a0spending time with her was easy as breathing. Well,\u00a0almost!!! Myles was in constant tribulation. This\u00a0relationship was somewhat complicated by Myles’ constant\u00a0worrying. He worried about the what ifs?? What if he\u00a0pursued Sarah and things went south?\u00a0Oh, how would he\u00a0<\/span>make it through 4 long years of Pharmacy school with that\u00a0<\/span>kind of DRAMA?<\/span>! <\/span><\/p>\n

They shared their first kiss on Sarah\u2019s 21st birthday.\u00a0<\/span>It was a complete shock when Sarah leaned in and stole a\u00a0<\/span>quick kiss. Myles was elated that Sarah was really into\u00a0<\/span>him and this is when he remembers knowing he was really\u00a0<\/span>falling for this girl. But Myles told Sarah he just\u00a0<\/span>couldn\u2019t commit to being in a relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before they knew it, a year of flirting and studying\u00a0almost everyday had come and gone. Sarah had grown\u00a0tired of waiting for Myles to change his mind about dating,\u00a0so since they were parting ways for the summer, she\u00a0decided to move on. They were apart for the entire\u00a0summer, however Myles really turned up the heat and it\u00a0was as if Sarah\u2019s retracting fueled him to chase her.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

They returned to school at the end of summer and\u00a0Sarah continued to be disinterested in Myles despite his\u00a0efforts. This chase continued until November of 2009\u00a0when their tension came to a head. Myles and Sarah met\u00a0up at the football game following Sarah declining to go to breakfast with Myles that morning. Myles left the game early due to being\u00a0grumpy — he was mad at the Pokes. Sarah remembers\u00a0his horrible mood and contributed it to her not accepting\u00a0his invitation to breakfast that morning. As Myles was leaving the game early at half time,\u00a0Sarah invited him to her brother’s house for a post game\u00a0<\/span>party. Myles indeed showed up later and the two hung out\u00a0<\/span>the entire evening until Sarah needed to head to\u00a0<\/span>Cheyenne for plans with family in the morning. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah\u00a0<\/span>called it a night and Myles gave her a ride to her \u00a0<\/span>apartment. On the way, out of the blue, Sarah said, \u201cHey,\u00a0<\/span>look here buddy, I\u2019m tired of your games. You are being\u00a0<\/span>stupid!! Are we dating or not?\u201d He agreed to all the\u00a0<\/span>accusations full heartedly and in that moment, stopped at\u00a0<\/span>the stop light at 15th and Reynolds in Laramie, Myles realized that\u00a0<\/span>loving Sarah was worth the risk and has never once\u00a0<\/span>regretted the decision. He finally started listening to his\u00a0<\/span>heart. It was official, Sarah and Myles were\u00a0<\/span>D.A.T.I.N.G.!!!! (<\/span>Finally……..)<\/span><\/p>\n

It was about six months after starting to date that\u00a0Sarah left for a Mexico trip for Spring Break. It was during\u00a0that week away that Sarah really knew that she loved\u00a0Myles. She couldn\u2019t imagine her life without him.\u00a0Sarah and Myles dated through the rest of pharmacy\u00a0school and their love and respect for one another\u00a0blossomed. Myles thought about marriage several times\u00a0during that time but it never was right. He knew that they\u00a0needed to finish school before heading down that road.<\/p>\n

They graduated together in May 2012, a joyous and\u00a0stressful time. Now for real life!! They both needed to\u00a0become gainfully employed. At the last minute Sarah got\u00a0a job at Walgreens and Myles had a job at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.\u00a0It was\u00a0<\/span>perfect, they would be able to stay together and Sarah\u00a0<\/span>knew that they would marry and be together forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

The proposal…..\u00a0It was November 2012 while flying back from Mexico\u00a0that Myles realized that it was time to ask Sarah to be his\u00a0wife. He went through his normal private inner dialogue, this time saying \u201cWhat\u00a0the hell am I waiting for? Marry this girl!!!” From the\u00a0second he landed in Denver he immediately started\u00a0making plans for the big proposal. Who would have known\u00a0<\/span>how hard some of the decisions would be? He finally\u00a0<\/span>found the perfect ring and decided to pop the question on\u00a0<\/span>New Years Eve. It would be perfect because New Years is\u00a0<\/span>an important holiday to both of them. He knew exactly\u00a0<\/span>when and how he would ask Sarah to marry him, but he\u00a0<\/span>still needed to ask Mark, Sarah’s father, for permission. <\/span><\/p>\n

He\u00a0<\/span>finally had his\u00a0<\/span>opportunity one early morning before Mark and Julie, Sarah’s mom, were\u00a0<\/span>to leave to Thermopolis, where they are from. Myles stayed up all night thinking\u00a0<\/span>of the right words to say. Myles stood outside Mark’s door\u00a0<\/span>and when Mark stepped out he was greeted by a very\u00a0<\/span>nervous Myles. Mark was definitely shocked but said yes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With that out of the way, Myles continued working on his\u00a0proposal. Sarah had no clue what was coming. She even\u00a0said and I quote, \u201cMan this New Years\u2019s is gonna suck! We\u00a0do not have any great plans\u201d. They spent their New Year’s Eve playing poker at Sarah\u2019s brother Dennis\u2019s house and
\nwere having a good time, but as the night progressed Myles\u00a0started getting anxious and making math errors and other\u00a0poker fumbles.\u00a0Finally they left and had plans to<\/span>\u00a0pick up a bottle of champagne. Sarah just\u00a0<\/span>wanted to go home and stay with the puppies they were dog sitting,\u00a0<\/span>but Myles was persistent and Sarah finally agreed. <\/span><\/p>\n

When\u00a0<\/span>they got there, Sarah wanted to stay in the truck\u00a0<\/span>because it was cold. Perfect<\/em> Myles thought. He ran in and\u00a0<\/span>set up two signs that he had made that said Sarah, m<\/em><\/span>arry me!!!<\/em>illuminated in Christmas light.\u00a0<\/span>Myles ran out\u00a0<\/span>to the truck and said he had something to show her. He\u00a0<\/span>made her close her eyes, and walked her into the backyard.\u00a0<\/span>He then got down on one knee and asked her to marry\u00a0<\/span>him. Sarah was so surprised, she was speechless — but she found the words to\u00a0<\/span>say YES!!!! It could not have been more perfect. Sarah\u00a0<\/span>deserved a perfect proposal for all the years of waiting on\u00a0<\/span>Myles. They were engaged New Year\u2019s Day 2013 and on April 27, 2013,<\/span>\u00a0Sarah and Myles became husband and wife, starting a\u00a0<\/span>new chapter of their love story.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Sarah Says About Myles<\/em>: \u00a0Myles is the perfect man for me because he loves me\u00a0unconditionally and he makes me a better woman. He is
\nhandsome, funny, caring, and is so fun to be around. He can\u00a0always put a smile on my face and make me laugh, and he truly\u00a0is my best friend. I miss him when we are apart and every\u00a0minute we are together is truly amazing. I can\u2019t wait to share\u00a0my life with him and have adventures. Through the good times\u00a0and bad, I will forever love him.<\/p>\n

These Words Are What Myles Wrote About Sarah:<\/em> \u00a0I couldn\u2019t asked for a better partner. Sarah makes me\u00a0a better man. She makes me realize what is
