Congratulations! You’re Getting Married! \u00a0Now What? \u00a0Time for the planning.\u00a0 Planning for your wedding can be joyous and stressful. You’re excited to get married and have a ton of ideas but there is also a to do list.\u00a0 When in doubt enlist help. Your family and friends are often there to help you throughout the planning.\u00a0 Here are some helpful tips to help you get a start on planning for the big day.<\/p>\n

Tip:\u00a0 Think about what you and the love of your life want for your wedding. Does this include a special place, a food, a color, a song, etc.\u00a0 Write them all down. It may be a good idea to get a notebook for all of your wedding stuff so it is not everywhere.<\/p>\n

Tip: While you are deciding on the date make a list of venues that you want the ceremony and or the reception to be held at. Prioritize them if possible. This way if your first choice is unavailable you have a backup in place.\u00a0 Another consideration is to call the venues to see what their available dates are before setting the date. This idea is great for those who have their hearts set on a particular place.<\/p>\n

Tip: To have a wedding consultant or not to have one… \u00a0This completely depends on the bride and what she needs. Consultants can help you with all or a portion of the wedding. For instance, you know exactly what you want for the ceremony but you really need help with the reception portion of it. Many Consultants and event services have A La Carte services that be created into a package that is suited for your needs.\u00a0 Do not wait until the last minute if you decide you want a consultant’s help. Their cost will be higher for the rush.<\/p>\n

Tip: The Dress! The search for the perfect dress begins. Do you have an idea of what you want and is it within your budget? If you are planning to shed some pounds for the day start now.\u00a0 It is easier to take in a dress than it is to let it out.\u00a0 Many brides when selecting their undergarments do not think of how they will..um hum\u2026use the facilities while in the dress. The wedding day schedule is usually tight and often there is not a half an hour planned for the bride to get completely out of the dress and back into it.<\/p>\n

Tip: Enjoy the planning and the time you get to spend with your friends and family. Make sure to take time for yourself but the love of your life too.<\/p>\n
