WEDDING SPOTLIGHT: Meggan & Nate
Thank you to Janelle Rose Photography of Cheyenne for graciously providing us with these beautiful images from Meggan & Nate’s June 6, 2015 wedding, the first wedding to be held at the new University of Wyoming, Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. This facility is a beautiful place to hold your wedding, special event, or simply stroll through and enjoy. This beautiful couple has the support of many friends and family members – guests included Governor Mead and First Lady Carol Mead, and the couple’s family presence, on both sides, is strongly felt throughout Janelle’s images. Meggan’s maiden name is Hathaway (many Wyomingites recognize that name!), and Nate’s father is a long…

WEDDING SPOTLIGHT: Kali & Kord’s 4th of July Wedding
Thanks to Charity & Ricky for sharing Kali & Kord’s beautiful 4th of July wedding in Cheyenne! Kali is a bride after my own <3, with LOTS of DIY elements in the flowers & American-inspired decor! The Big Day was held at Kali’s parents’ home, and a friend provided the cake & food. LOVE it – what a great way to celebrate a beautiful story… I have to also share Kali’s story of Kord’s proposal… See if it gives you the response I had… “We actually met at Kord’s brother Brandon’s wedding. Brandon married my best friend Sara, I was a bridesmaid and Kord was the best man. Kord’s proposal was…

WEDDING SPOTLIGHT: Kate & Dan’s Historic Wedding
Kate & Dan met in college, and recently renewed their friendship. Photography by Mike Roberts of Sheridan was kind enough to share this wedding with us, which was also held on he & his lovely wife’s 47th anniversary! Kate, an artist, had a request of Mike – that the wedding be captured in strictly black & white imaging. (As a side note, Kate’s mother and Mike taught together at Big Horn High School!) Also special – this was the first wedding held in the historic Sheridan Inn following the extensive remodeling that took place over the last year. The renovations allowed for guests to stay in the inn, a feature not available…

WEDDING SPOTLIGHT: FLOODING DIDN’T STOP THIS BEAUTIFUL WEDDING…
Thanks to Lacey Dale Photography of Lusk for sharing this wedding with us! So imagine this … Anne and Andrew were married June 6, 2015, right after the Thursday flash flood in Lusk that took out the overpass on the north side of town (the side heading to Andrew’s family ranch where they planned to be married). THEN, the Niobrara County Fairgrounds were taken over by the Red Cross, National Guard and unfortunate families who lost their homes in the flood took over the reception site … so needless to say, they had to improvise. The Niobrara Country Club, in Lusk, became the new location, and the couple and…

SHOP WYOMING: Fresh Flower Fantasy, Laramie
We REALLY appreciated the work of Fresh Flower Fantasy to not only sling through Valentine’s Day with sleepless nights, but to come to our Laramie Bridal Expo at its unexpected date of February 15. Not only that, but they brought bridal bouquets for the fashion show models, a lovely arch for our guests to pass through, and their biggest smile & bushiest tails! It was impressive! The thing that made me doubly able to say that is the fact that my parents own the shop – and when I told my mother back in December that we had to move the date, she didn’t blink an eye, she just merely…
